Yes. keep your warrenty papers close
http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4226274 That one shown is a 50 trim, mine is a 60 trim and is in most MK3 VR Kinetics turbo kits and come with a one year manafactures waranty. I'm not too worried.

I'm not too worried. I'm hoping you're right. however, i can't see how a different trim wheel is going to change the reliability of a certain brand of turbo, just wanted to give you a heads up with what i've been seeing on vortex about roto turbos

| I wouldn't be worried at all. I couldn't find any more bad comments aside from that thread about Rotomaster turbos. Maybe the guy's oil feed setup sucks or something.
Some people are having good luck with generic eBay turbos keep in mind, so it's all in how they're set up and treated. Garrett actually owns Rotomaster so I doubt they're bad quality.

| Yes I was going to add that the Roto's are made by Garrett as well. I haven't seen any problems with the MK3 VR Kinetics kit at all on my searches, but thanks for the heads up anyways Marcel. | |

| And honestly Kinetic has probably sold hundreds and hundreds (if not thousands) of those turbos. My MK4 2.0L kit is numbered as #306, so there's at least that many out there and I only see a few people who've had issues. | |

| So I'm bailing on the Rotomaster scene. Kinetic is upgrading me to a Garrett after I called them today and told them I was concerned about what I read. They didn't even try to talk me out of it so I think that was the best thing to do. | |

| Well during the week sameday dropped off a big box filled with every silicone hose, t-bolt, fitting, nuts and bolts that are in the kit including a cone filter, metal MAF, and a 3 inch metal intake. So all thats left to get now is the following...
-Wasgate -Injectors -C2 Chip -Downpipe
