Chrysler + GM = Fail ?

Merging together ? its what i heard .. anyone got any info on this ?

see this is what i dont get about this whole deal when diamler got ahold of chrysler they lost 15% margin so now that chrysler and gm are merging they are both in total loss gm just asked the federal gov in the us for 5 billion dollars so that they coul aquire chrysler.

so yes gm+chrysler= epic fail

something got posted about this a little while back..prolly bout a week ago...GM sold the remaining 50% of their own stocks to Chrysler. It was only in the financial sector of it..a merger...but it was a different division of GM as far as i remember...

gm just wanted there money because there losing so much money a month that they cant keep up. So now there just gonna keep losing money and the money chrsytler had, unless things soon turn around.

see the thing is that gm must first get rid of all the little companies that are making them go bust first then they probably wouldnt be in such of a mess

compared to daimler who owns only mercedes,maybach, part of mitsubishi, Freighliner,Smart, and until 2008 chrysler part of Cerberus now
and compared to Ford who owns mercury(still not sure if they may cancel it in the states) lincoln,Mazda and volvo(they just recently sold jaguar , and landrover to Tata motors in india.Aston martin is actaully in the plans of being rebought by mercedes right now). Gm is doing so poorly they have canceled all SUv production for the end of 2009. And have also bailed out contract for the nascar truck series at the end of this year . so this is not good times for gm right now

FYI Daimler has nothing to do with chrysler... they spun them off almost a year ago due to the financial burden.

to get back on track its hard to defend a north american car manufacture when they create junk and when two big companies make junk and merge together they create bigger junk so thats why i say big fail either gm is going to waste there time and money they dont have and kick the bucket now or they leave Chrysler to kick the bucket alone
