the first porsche produced was in 1948, and it was the 356, it did use many of the same parts as a VW bug, but the engine had more power, and it was a sleeker design, so although very like a bug, it was still the first porsche to go under the actual title of Porsche

But i do Believe the first car to actaully go under Production was the the 64 . . .
