well got the trunk patched up dont look good put its air tight and no ones gonna see what it looks like anyway

used lot of sealent after we welded it to make sure it dont leak and i got bored

painted it with a rubberized undercoat

finally got the fendors bolted in . there in for good now

this took for ever to get them on right but thats because we did not want any gaps off wanted them all even. aslo started the stero install update pictures tommoror

heres some pic of the stereo install dont mind the sheet lol

i will apply resin to the sheet to give me my mold then i will add my layers of fiberglass and bondo to get a smooth finish then paint the same color as the car

well im starting to run out of time but all i got left to buy is the racing seats and quick release for my new stearing wheel
heres what i ordered to get this thing runningagain and to pass inspection
timing belt, head gasket, gaskets kits, oil pan, water pump, hub assembly,head bolts ,brakes disc in the front drums in the back pads and shoes, header and downpipe both ss,cold air intake, new headlights black with blue projector lens i have recived half the stuff as u can see in the folowing pics . should be running befor may and it will be getting painted in may oo stearing is gettign glassed this weekend have all the resin mat and hardener and bondo.

got a fair amouth of work done this weekend
finaly got the kti on and bolted up in place

got some glassing done

some more parts break pads.shoes.stearing wheel and some fog lights

Goood Call. I've seen people work on fiberglassing boxes and finishing with normal bondo, just to see it crumble after some use cause of vibrations.

its cuz they put in on to think on the first coat u gotta start with small coats alot of sanding and odnt be scared of the hardener

I thought certain Bondo doesnt take well to fiberglass though?

Cody, with that motor pulled you should opt for a 1G 2.0L 4G63t, it will be much cheaper and easier to upgrade then dealing with the 420A. If you shop around you should be able to find one at a good price, i have some connections in the US big into the DSM scene. But other then that good work bro. Now that my Talon is sold :0( and I am in Edmonton Im pondering my next vehicle.
