1990 vw jetta manual transmission....i need a starter, and from canadian tire they are 250$ plus tax? ftw...i need 2nd hand or cheaper because i dont even think canadian tire is oem ??

the fact its a gti dont really matter,...but howd u remember its a gti lol
1.8L 8v gas..i doubt the whole gti thing makes a difference...

OK got a price today but its pretty much what you got from crappy tire. Only suggestion at this point would be try covey's or another junk yard pick up a second hand one for cheap

try Benny Taylor....he's on the Mill Road. He specializes in Vw's. He might be able to track one down, either new-OEM or 2nd hand-OEM.
but, most MKII 2nd-hand goodies can be had on CustomObsessions or VwVortex or VwFixx or..........
