the code i pulled from it said throttle position sensor.... probably just needs a new peddle assembly

yeah man...it used to work pretty good. I'll help keep an eye out for one for you. What's the criteria? 1.8T or VR? Jetta or GTI/Golf?

Its amazing what can happen to a perfectly good car in a little over 6 months.... banghead

You'd figure that these kids would realize that nothing is indestructable and continuously beating the shit out of something has consequences...

Either way, i doubt that the car is beyond repair... he just needs to bring it to someone who has the right tools and knowledge to fix it

has he even brought it to you to scan for codes? If so what codes is it throwing? Speaking of codes, what's up with haley's codes?

He brought it to me and he has a code for the throttle position sensor, i figure there is either an issue with the throttle pedal assembly of the throttle body... I told him to bring it to benny and that he'd fix him up, but he ended up taking it to Joey Mood who doesn't even have a vagcom Screwy

Haley's car is fucked, i've never seen so many codes on a single car, thats the one that should be driven off a wharf

so..funny thing i just noticed, and yes im aware that i was dormant for well over a month on this site, but one of the first posts on this thread was mark saying how much he likes this car, and how its like the nicest mk4 jetta in town...and now look LOL
