| different housings See how the K04-001 attaches to the exhaust manifold... That elbow on the compressor side comes up and over the exhaust manifold to connect to the pipe that runs along the back of the engine. Also, the Downpipe connects in a different way.. on the K04-001... it faces downward... on the K04-015 it faces the back of the car I can't really find any pics of the Audi 1.8t... but i'm sure you know it sits front to back in the engine bay instead of sideways like in the Jetta... Anyway... you don't have to take my word for it... i've only been working on the fucking things since 2003 | |

| correct. cause the turbo you showed is the one im looking for.
but like i said im not looking for nothing wild so i could deal with the 100 less horse power. also saving 2000
the awe kit comes with a GIAC chip.also you can upgrade the kit for injectors which are included and a front mount sold speratly.
what kind of exhaust?sould i just go online and watch videos till i hear what i like?

| if your looking at buying all these mods at once, your best bet would be to call AWE and see if you can't get some type of package price... they'd know best what exhaust works well with there kit
I'd defintily look into getting the injector file with that K04

| the borla system includes a downpipe, so that'd be the one i'd be looking at... the injector file i refer to is the PC16 upgrade offered for the AWE K04 kit... but it looks like it may only be available for manuals | |

| well either way the total cost for the kit, engine chip, tip chip, full exhaust would be around 3000 shipped to ma door. but i have to send my computer away so they can do this. would it be easier to find a spare and just use that one? | |

| if you can make the black come out smooth and then clear coat it somehow to still look satin, that'd be mint. | |
