What do you think you can do? It doesn't go into FW disk mode. You can hear the head crashing on the platter on startup. It's toast.

| I'd definitely throw in the replacement drive... but their may be a good chance of recovering some data off of it. We've had some moderate success here with it in the office. | |

| If I had a decent external enclosure I would do the freezer trick. It's not like if we swap the HD today the old data is gone. Maybe we can try to recover what we can next time you're down Kyle? | |

| oh definitely, i'm just saying, i can get puck that 320 for 73 bucks and bring it down on Wednesday with me.... i'm sure it's a better deal then whatever he paid at staples for the 160.
Once that's done i can get the boys here at the office to tackle the recovery!

| ultra wide angle distortion (102 degree field of view).....it's the latest craze....i just have to fine-tune my framing techniques. It's my first real day of shooting outside and it was kinda cold on the hands today holding a camera. I also wanted to not really get my steelies in the pics. It's a hard lens to master and my camera settings were off, due to the fact they were set up for indoor lighting . This ain't no point and shoot setup. It's a better lens for things that are non-linear like fields, mountain scenery trees etc... I haven't used my other 3 lenses yet either since I got my 10-20mm in the mail. i'm also having problems with this site.....it doesn't allow certain host tags for some reason. I had to use flash for this shit and those aren't flash images my Mac is up and running now. Thanks to SMG... maybe I'll work on a few with CS3 | |
