| Well boys its looking like I (99% sure) will be the proud owner of a Mk2 Gti with a Passat 1.8t motor swapped in her. Its running a k04 turbo and front mount intercooler with custom 3"exhaust. Its about 245 hp @ 8psi.The car is black with a single rounds. With Big Bumpers. For those of you who know Nick (Fancy Nick) It is his old Gti. I will only be making it sexier and faster with time I have always had a soft spot for mk2 Gti's..and this having a turbo gives my boost junkie abilities to have one Couple things to get her going is i'll be chipping it in hopes to be up around 300 hp 275 trq with some help from Mr.Misner. The car it self only needs a fuel pump and a lil TLC. I hope to pimp this bad boy out. It's running fk Silver line coil overs right now , so chances are yes its gunna be slammed on hopefully some BBS rs's just for the fact that I get a hard on , when i seen them on mark 2's. The Jetta will become my......"winter beater"..... as I hopefully plan to make this car into a nice well done , not cheezy but hot mark 2. But as far as roadie's and what not the Jetta will always be with me. As it will prob be the most realible out of the 2 of course. This is what i'm hoping to get out of her as far as looks go. I wanna go with a offset color. I was thinking Red.... Black on red ??? I think maybe.. also was thinking gold; inspiration to RJ...(dont get mad) But here is a idea of the stance and shizzzzz I'm going to be looking for with the car. I want to pull and roll the fenders (fat ass FTW) Red Gooooold This is what i'd be going for

Its a APR K04 i'm almost positive on that. And it's not stand alone how ever that would've been nice lol
The car will Def. stay black , I love black GTI's.
I'm hoping to get out of here Wed. and go pick it up. I'll get some shots of her ASAP.

I'm not saying wheel HP . But its around 245 right now and it's not chipped. I've talked to Nick and it did have APR. But with a Unitronic chip should bring it close too 290 at the crank. Either way thats allot of power for a little car. So maybe this spring I might have to see if i cant attack Mr.Leblanc in the little nugget lol ::

| APR claims 242hp/268lb-ft on 91 octane gas at the crank on a stock 1.8T with the APR K04 kit. Unitronics software alone won't make you any more power than that, it'll be plenty fast, but don't shoot for 300 | |

| Stormin' Norman hit that one right on the head... Unitronic is just another chip company... and they all accomplish the same general results within 5-10hp of each other.... There is alot of hype surrounding unitronic, but i've yet to see any dyno results from them that haven't been accomplished by other companies. Regardess of the tune, you're still dealing with a K04, which is marginally larger then a stock turbo. The most you can expect out of that setup would be 225-230whp and thats pushing it, lol Its still going to be a fast fucking little car considering i've had shits that weight more then a MK2 | |

Time will tell I guess. I'd like to get into a truck and have the mk2 as my fun summer whip. Since insurance is only 700 a year for it (with my driving record I was surprised) Thats fire and theft / PLPD. It works out quite well. Tow and hauling and playing around would be the trucks job. When its sexy time out.... GTI.
